May,24,2023

The 11th China-Europe Forum on Gynecological Endoscopy (SESGE) and ESGE Asia-Pacific Regional Conference successfully concluded on May 21, 2023. The forum deserves to be one of the largest, longest, and most influential conferences in China. The forum lasted for 16 days, from May 5 to May 21. It was jointly organized by the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, Guangdong Medical Association, Guangdong Health Management Society, Guangdong Physician Association, and Guangdong Health Service Industry Association.

The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, combining both online and offline sessions. Nearly 300 domestic and international experts and scholars in the field of gynecological endoscopy, as well as other related fields, delivered special lectures and conducted surgical demonstrations on key and challenging topics in gynecological endoscopy and tumor treatment. The number of attendees at the offline sessions reached as high as 2000, while the online on-demand viewership amounted to approximately 150,000.

In this conference, YODO Medical participated in a more innovative and diversified manner. They not only set up booths but also organized DOHIS special satellite conferences. On May 20, around 11 am, the DOHIS special satellite meeting commenced. The Satellite Conference was privileged to have Professor Liang Yanchun from the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University as the host. The Satellite Club began by playing the "DOHIS Promotional Video" followed by the keynote speech delivered by Professor Feng Limin from Beijing Tiantan Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University. Professor Feng shared insights on the "Application of Disposable Electronic Hysteroscopy in OPH," and YODO Medical was honored to have her as the speaker.

Professor Feng presented outpatient hysteroscopy (OPH) by discussing the value of hysteroscopy and the challenges associated with surgical hysteroscopy. He proposed that OPH represents a new model for the diagnosis and treatment of modern gynecological diseases. Professor Feng emphasized that the DOHIS disposable hysteroscope not only fulfills the fundamental characteristics of OPH but also offers numerous advantages that can be considered the new standard for outpatient hysteroscopy. These advantages include double-pump constant pressure technology, rapid suction sampling technology, and the flexibility of the 0-degree mirror with multi-angle bending capabilities, among others. According to Professor Feng, the disposable electronic hysteroscope aligns completely with the traditional indications and contraindications of examining the uterine cavity. Clinical research on disposable electronic hysteroscopy often emphasizes precision and convenience while prioritizing speed and minimizing contamination. Lastly, Professor Feng Limin expressed great expectations for DOHIS and conveyed a valuable message of "DOHIS, Alleviating the suffering caused by intrauterine diseases in countless women!"
